Features of the Machine

• Horizontal Slide: the combination of well ribbed cross-section with a large span support structure design, greatly improves the rigidity of Horizontal saddle.
• Bed: the internal triangular ribbed design and optimized layout of foundation support, improved the stability of machine tool
• Guideway: Z axis guide adopts the overloaded roller guides with cage and four-direct equal load, effeciently improving the rigidity of Z axis. The dynamic load is improved by 18.5% and the static load is enhanced by 87%
• Column: Column introduces a reinforcement structure with internal three sides of asterisk (like UK’s flag) ribs to prevent deformation more than 20%.

Its unique design T-shaped bed and headstock hung frontal with symmetrical configuration.

All major component such as bed, column, pallet saddle and spindle headstock are high grade meehanite casting to provide superior stability and vibration damping characteristics. Structural strength of each part has been optimised by thik walled casting together with extensive use of ribs, preventing from bending or distortion.

The cross section of the rectangular guideways is thick and wide for maximum machine rigidity. Guideways are hardened and ground to assure accuracy and long life cycle. The sliding surface is sticked with the Turcite B-HP from Shampan, super vibration absorbing ability.

Lubrication: Lathe has stationed periodic constant lubrication device which will be lubricate to the ball screw and guideway constantly, so it can prolong the life-span of lathe.

Safety guard and coolant system: Perfect splash guard, powerful automatic coolant system and chip conveyor improve the reliability, efficiency and lifespan of the lathe.

Rigid spindle construction: Main spindle is supported at 2 points, the front is supported with supper precision double row cylindrical roller bearing and high speed angular ball bearing and the rear is supported with super precision double row cylindrical roller bearing, which are suitable for heavy-duty and super cutting.

Tail stock: Separate construction of tailstock body is easy for adjusting. It can be traveled with carriage. Be clamped by manual programmable quil advance/retract can be done by hydraulic power. Programmable tailstock is optional which can be hydraulic driving and clamping by program. Inside rotary spindle also optional.

Turret: The 12 station turret has high rigidity and high positioning accuracy, which is suitable for heavy cutting.

Heat balance headstock: As headstock and carriage are mounted on the same angled surface. Distortion is minimized by thermal displacement is the headstock. Main spindle is supported at 2 points, front is supported with super precision double row cylindrical roller bearing and high speed angular ball bearing and rear is supported with super precision double row cylindrical roller bearing.

45 Degree slant bed structure: High rigid 45 degree slant bed makes fine chip flow and easy access to workplace for operator. 1.080mm wide bed and sideways are hardened and ground assuring heavy duty cutting and long life high accuracy. Chip conveyor is separate type from the machine body to avoid thermal influence of hot chips and coolant.

Programmable tailstock: Tailstock spindle diameter is 160mm and built-in rotating center can support heavy workpiece. Travel for hydraulic tailstock spindles is 150mm. Quil and tailstock body advance/retract and clamping/unclamping are done by program commands which saves setup time.
