The new generation of GRUE series double column machining centre is equipped with standard crossrail adopts multi-point positioning lifting mechanism with high and stable accuracy, suitable for parts processing. It has optional duel servo motors drives with crossrail’s and columns slide and roller guides can achieve the characteristic of simultaneous moving and cutting for crossrail. The machine has optional linear guide for crossrail and saddle guides. The ram with linear guide is suitable for high accuracy and high speed mold processing. The new GRUE is equipped with standard crossrail and saddle guides adopt slide & roller guide way with standard 400mmx400mm four-side wrapped square ram, suitable for heavy cutting with high accuracy.

Lubrication: Lathe has stationed periodic constant lubrication device which will be lubricate to the ball screw and guideway constantly, so it can prolong the life-span of lathe.

Heat balance headstock: As headstock and carriage are mounted on the same angled surface. Distortion is minimized by thermal displacement is the headstock. Main spindle is supported at 2 points, front is supported with super precision double row cylindrical roller bearing and high speed angular ball bearing and rear is supported with super precision double row cylindrical roller bearing.

45 Degree slant bed structure: High rigid 45 degree slant bed makes fine chip flow and easy access to workplace for operator. 1.080mm wide bed and sideways are hardened and ground assuring heavy duty cutting and long life high accuracy. Chip conveyor is separate type from the machine body to avoid thermal influence of hot chips and coolant.

Programmable tailstock: Tailstock spindle diameter is 160mm and built-in rotating center can support heavy workpiece. Travel for hydraulic tailstock spindles is 150mm. Quil and tailstock body advance/retract and clamping/unclamping are done by program commands which saves setup time.
