ISCAR is expanding the SUMOCHAM drilling head options by\u00a0introducing a revolutionary drilling head geometry that features chip\u00a0splitting notches on the cutting edge and an impressed chipbreaker\u00a0on the rake for\u00a0superior chip control on a wide range of materials.<\/p>\n
The new ICG drilling heads are available in 16 to 25.9 mm diameters, in 0.5 mm increments.\u00a0Popular sizes are also available for Heat Exchangers.<\/p>\n
The ICG drilling heads ensure hole tolerance of IT9-10. The ICG geometry should be regarded as\u00a0a general machining option and is mostly recommended for drilling austenitic stainless steel where\u00a0it can solve chip evacuation problems in deep drilling applications.<\/p>\n
The new ICG drilling heads can be mounted on any SUMOCHAM standard drill body with the\u00a0appropriate pocket size.
