IC806 Grade – A Winning Solution for Inconel and Stainless Steel Machining \u00a0ISCAR\u2019s aim is to effectively machine Inconel and austenitic stainless steel and therefore has\u00a0successfully developed grade IC806; a sub-micron grade with superior wear resistant properties\u00a0and advanced PVD TiAlN. ISCAR\u2019s SUMO-TECH coating exhibits better results when compared to\u00a0competitor grades and other ISCAR grades. \u00a0These materials are extensively used in the food, chemical and medical equipment industries.<\/p>\n
IC806 has a hard submicron substrate with PVD coating and a special post coating\u00a0treatment that provides substantially improved tool life and better reliability.<\/p>\n
